Chapter 8 | Akṣhar Brahma Yog | Verse 26
शुक्लकृष्णे गती ह्येते जगत: शाश्वते मते
एकया यात्यनावृत्तिमन्ययावर्तते पुन:
śhukla-kṛiṣhṇe gatī hyete jagataḥ śhāśhvate mate
ekayā yātyanāvṛittim anyayāvartate punaḥ
શુક્લકૃષ્ણે ગતી હ્યેતે જગતઃ શાશ્વતે મતે
એકયા યાત્યનાવૃત્તિમન્યયાવર્તતે પુનઃ
MEANING
“There are two eternal paths for souls departing from this world: the bright path (Shukla) and the dark path (Krishna). By following the bright path, one attains liberation and does not return to the cycle of birth and death. By following the dark path, one returns again to worldly existence.”
“इस संसार से प्रस्थान करने वाले जीवों के लिए दो शाश्वत मार्ग बताए गए हैं—शुक्ल मार्ग और कृष्ण मार्ग। शुक्ल मार्ग से जाने वाला जीव पुनर्जन्म को प्राप्त नहीं होता, अर्थात मोक्ष प्राप्त करता है। कृष्ण मार्ग से जाने वाला जीव पुनः जन्म-मरण के चक्र में लौट आता है।”
“આ જગતમાંથી વિદાય લેતા જીવો માટે બે શાશ્વત માર્ગ જણાવવામાં આવ્યા છે—શુક્લ માર્ગ અને કૃષ્ણ માર્ગ. શુક્લ માર્ગે જનાર જીવ ફરી જન્મ-મરણના ચક્રમાં પાછો આવતો નથી, એટલે કે મોક્ષ પામે છે. જ્યારે કૃષ્ણ માર્ગે જનાર જીવ ફરીથી સંસારમાં જન્મ લે છે.”
