Chapter 15 |Puruṣhottam Yog| Verse 08

शरीरं यदवाप्नोति यच्चाप्युत्क्रामतीश्वर: ।
गृहीत्वैतानि संयाति वायुर्गन्धानिवाशयात्

śharīraṁ yad avāpnoti yach chāpy utkrāmatīśhvaraḥ
gṛihītvaitāni sanyāti vāyur gandhān ivāśhayāt

શરીરં યદવાપ્નોતિ યચ્ચાપ્યુત્ક્રામતીશ્વરઃ ।
ગૃહીત્વૈતાનિ સંયાતિ વાયુર્ગન્ધાનિવાશયાત્

MEANING

When the embodied soul obtains a new body and when it leaves the old one, it carries along the mind and senses, just as the wind carries fragrances from their source.

जब जीवात्मा नया शरीर प्राप्त करती है और जब पुराने शरीर को छोड़ती है, तब वह मन और इन्द्रियों को साथ लेकर जाती है, जैसे वायु किसी स्थान से सुगंध को अपने साथ ले जाती है।

જીવાત્મા જ્યારે નવું શરીર ધારણ કરે છે અને જ્યારે જૂનું શરીર છોડે છે, ત્યારે તે મન અને ઇન્દ્રિયોની સૂક્ષ્મ શક્તિઓને પોતાની સાથે લઈ જાય છે, જેમ પવન કોઈ સ્થાનની સુગંધને પોતાની સાથે લઈ જાય છે.
