Chapter 15 |Puruṣhottam Yog| Verse 18
यस्मात्क्षरमतीतोऽहमक्षरादपि चोत्तम: ।
अतोऽस्मि लोके वेदे च प्रथित: पुरुषोत्तम:
yasmāt kṣharam atīto ’ham akṣharād api chottamaḥ
ato ’smi loke vede cha prathitaḥ puruṣhottamaḥ
યસ્માત્ક્ષરમતીતોઽહમક્ષરાદપિ ચોત્તમઃ ।
અતોऽસ્મિ લોકે વેદે ચ પ્રથિતઃ પુરુષોત્તમઃ
MEANING
Because I transcend the perishable (kṣara) and am even higher than the imperishable (akṣara), I am celebrated in the world and in the Vedas as the Supreme Person (Purushottama).
क्योंकि मैं नाशवान (क्षर) से परे हूँ और अविनाशी (अक्षर) से भी श्रेष्ठ हूँ, इसलिए मैं संसार में और वेदों में पुरुषोत्तम के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हूँ।
હું નાશવંત (ક્ષર)થી પર છું અને અવિનાશી (અક્ષર)થી પણ શ્રેષ્ઠ છું. તેથી જ હું લોકમાં અને વેદોમાં પુરુષોત્તમ તરીકે પ્રસિદ્ધ છું.
