Chapter 16 | Daivasura Sampad Vibhag Yog | Verse 08
असत्यमप्रतिष्ठं ते जगदाहुरनीश्वरम् ।
अपरस्परसम्भूतं किमन्यत्कामहैतुकम्
asatyam apratiṣhṭhaṁ te jagad āhur anīśhvaram
aparaspara-sambhūtaṁ kim anyat kāma-haitukam
અસત્યમપ્રતિષ્ઠં તે જગદાહુરનીશ્વરમ્ ।
અપરસ્પરસમ્ભૂતં કિમન્યત્કામહૈતુકમ્
MEANING
“They say that this world is unreal, without any moral foundation, and without God. They claim it has arisen merely from the union of man and woman, driven only by desire, and for no other purpose.”
“आसुरी स्वभाव वाले लोग कहते हैं कि यह संसार असत्य है, इसका कोई आधार नहीं है और इसका कोई ईश्वर नहीं है। वे मानते हैं कि यह केवल स्त्री-पुरुष के संयोग से उत्पन्न हुआ है और इसका कारण केवल कामना (वासना) ही है, इसके अतिरिक्त कुछ नहीं।
“આસુરી સ્વભાવવાળા લોકો કહે છે કે આ જગત અસત્ય છે, તેનો કોઈ આધાર નથી અને તેનો કોઈ ઈશ્વર નથી. તેઓ માને છે કે આ જગત માત્ર સ્ત્રી-પુરુષના સંયોગથી ઉત્પન્ન થયું છે અને તેનું કારણ માત્ર કામના (વાસના) જ છે, બીજું કંઈ નથી.”
