Chapter 3 | Karm Yog | Verse 28
तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयो:
गुणा गुणेषु वर्तन्त इति मत्वा न सज्जते
tattva-vit tu mahā-bāho guṇa-karma-vibhāgayoḥ
guṇā guṇeṣhu vartanta iti matvā na sajjate
તત્ત્વવિત્તુ મહાબાહો ગુણકર્મવિભાગયોઃ
ગુણાઃ ગુણેષુ વર્તન્ત ઇતિ મત્વા ન સજ્જતે
MEANING
O mighty-armed Arjuna, one who knows the truth about the distinction between the qualities (gunas) and actions understands that the senses and the gunas operate among the gunas themselves. Knowing this, he does not become attached.
हे महाबाहो! तत्त्व को जानने वाला व्यक्ति समझता है कि गुण और कर्म आपस में ही कार्य करते हैं। ऐसा जानकर वह आसक्त नहीं होता।
હે મહાબાહુ! જે તત્ત્વજ્ઞાની છે, તે સમજે છે કે ગુણો પોતાના જ ગુણોમાં કાર્ય કરે છે. એવું સમજીને તે આસક્ત થતો નથી.
