Chapter 3 | Karm Yog | Verse 42
इन्द्रियाणि पराण्याहुरिन्द्रियेभ्य: परं मन:
मनसस्तु परा बुद्धिर्यो बुद्धे: परतस्तु स:
indriyāṇi parāṇyāhur indriyebhyaḥ paraṁ manaḥ
manasas tu parā buddhir yo buddheḥ paratas tu saḥ
ઇન્દ્રિયાણિ પરાણ્યાહુરિન્દ્રિયેભ્યઃ પરં મનઃ
મનસસ્તુ પરા બુદ્ધિઃ યો બુદ્ધેઃ પરતસ્તુ સઃ
MEANING
The senses are said to be superior to the body; the mind is superior to the senses; the intellect is superior to the mind; and that (the Self) is superior even to the intellect.
इन्द्रियाँ शरीर से श्रेष्ठ कही गई हैं, इन्द्रियों से श्रेष्ठ मन है, मन से श्रेष्ठ बुद्धि है, और बुद्धि से भी श्रेष्ठ आत्मा है।
ઇન્દ્રિયો શરીરથી શ્રેષ્ઠ છે, ઇન્દ્રિયોથી ઉપર મન છે, મનથી ઉપર બુદ્ધિ છે અને બુદ્ધિથી પણ ઉપર આત્મા છે.
