निहत्य धार्तराष्ट्रान्न: का प्रीति: स्याज्जनार्दन ।
पापमेवाश्रयेदस्मान्हत्वैतानाततायिन:
nihatya dhārtarāṣhṭrān naḥ kā prītiḥ syāj janārdana
pāpam evāśhrayed asmān hatvaitān ātatāyinaḥ
નિહત્ય ધાર્તરાષ્ટ્રાન્નઃ કા પ્રીતિઃ સ્યાજ્જનાર્દન ।
પાપમેવાશ્રયેદસ્માન્ હત્વૈતાનાતતાયિનઃ ॥
MEANING
O Janardana (Krishna), what pleasure will we gain by killing the sons of Dhritarashtra? By slaying these aggressors, we would incur only sin.
“हे जनार्दन! धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्रों को मारकर हमें क्या प्रसन्नता मिलेगी? इन आततायियों को मारने से हमें केवल पाप ही लगेगा।”
હે જનાર્દન! ધૃતરાષ્ટ્રના પુત્રોને મારીને અમને શું આનંદ મળશે? આ આતતાયીઓને મારીને પણ અમને માત્ર પાપ જ લાગશે.
