Chapter 17 | Śhraddhā Traya Vibhāg Yog| Verse 04

यजन्ते सात्त्विका देवान्यक्षरक्षांसि राजसा: ।
प्रेतान्भूतगणांश्चान्ये यजन्ते तामसा जना:

yajante sāttvikā devān yakṣha-rakṣhānsi rājasāḥ
pretān bhūta-gaṇānśh chānye yajante tāmasā janāḥ

યજન્તે સાત્ત્વિકા દેવાન્ યક્ષરક્ષાંસિ રાજસાઃ ।
પ્રેતાન્ ભૂતગણાંશ્ચાન્યે યજન્તે તામસા જનાઃ

MEANING

Those who are sattvic (in the mode of goodness) worship the demigods (Devas). Those who are rajasic (in the mode of passion) worship Yakshas and Rakshasas. Others, who are tamasic (in the mode of ignorance), worship ghosts, spirits, and other supernatural beings.

सात्त्विक स्वभाव वाले लोग देवताओं की पूजा करते हैं।
राजसी स्वभाव वाले लोग यक्षों और राक्षसों की उपासना करते हैं।
और तामसी स्वभाव वाले लोग प्रेतों, भूतों तथा अन्य अदृश्य शक्तियों की पूजा करते हैं।

સાત્ત્વિક સ્વભાવવાળા લોકો દેવતાઓની ઉપાસના કરે છે.
રાજસી સ્વભાવવાળા લોકો યક્ષો અને રાક્ષસોની પૂજા કરે છે.
જ્યારે તામસી સ્વભાવવાળા લોકો પ્રતો, ભૂતો અને અન્ય અદૃશ્ય શક્તિઓની ઉપાસના કરે છે.
