Chapter 17 | Śhraddhā Traya Vibhāg Yog| Verse 24

तस्माद् ॐ इत्युदाहृत्य यज्ञदानतप:क्रिया: ।
प्रवर्तन्ते विधानोक्ता: सततं ब्रह्मवादिनाम्

tasmād oṁ ity udāhṛitya yajña-dāna-tapaḥ-kriyāḥ
pravartante vidhānoktāḥ satataṁ brahma-vādinām

તસ્માદ્ ૐ ઇત્યુદાહૃત્ય યજ્ઞદાનતપઃક્રિયાઃ ।
પ્રવર્તન્તે વિધાનોક્તાઃ સતતં બ્રહ્મવાદિનામ્

MEANING

Therefore, uttering “Om”, the followers of the Vedas (Brahman-knowers) always begin acts of sacrifice (yajña), charity (dāna), and austerity (tapas) as prescribed in the scriptures.

इसलिए ‘ॐ’ का उच्चारण करके ब्रह्मवेत्ता (वेदों का अनुसरण करने वाले) लोग शास्त्रों में बताए गए अनुसार यज्ञ, दान और तप का आरंभ करते हैं।

તેથી ‘ૐ’ નો ઉચ્ચાર કરીને બ્રહ્મજ્ઞાની તથા વેદોનું અનુસરણ કરનારા લોકો શાસ્ત્રોમાં જણાવેલી વિધિ મુજબ યજ્ઞ, દાન અને તપ જેવી ક્રિયાઓનો આરંભ કરે છે.
