परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् ।
धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे
paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṁ vināśhāya cha duṣhkṛitām
dharma-sansthāpanārthāya sambhavāmi yuge yuge
પરિત્રાણાય સાધૂનાં વિનાશાય ચ દુષ્કૃતામ્ ।
ધર્મસંસ્થાપનાર્થાય સમ્ભવામિ યુગે યુગે
MEANING
“For the protection of the righteous, for the destruction of the wicked, and for the establishment of Dharma (righteousness), I manifest Myself age after age.”
“सज्जनों की रक्षा करने, दुष्टों का विनाश करने और धर्म की स्थापना करने के लिए मैं युग-युग में अवतार लेता हूँ।”
“સાધુજનોની રક્ષા કરવા, દુષ્ટોનો વિનાશ કરવા અને ધર્મની સ્થાપના કરવા માટે હું યુગે યુગે અવતાર ધારણ કરું છું.”
