Chapter 13 | Kṣhetra Kṣhetrajña Vibhāg Yog| Verse 02

श्रीभगवानुवाच ।
इदं शरीरं कौन्तेय क्षेत्रमित्यभिधीयते ।
एतद्यो वेत्ति तं प्राहु: क्षेत्रज्ञ इति तद्विद:

śhrī-bhagavān uvācha
idaṁ śharīraṁ kaunteya kṣhetram ity abhidhīyate
etad yo vetti taṁ prāhuḥ kṣhetra-jña iti tad-vidaḥ

શ્રીભગવાનુવાચ ।
ઇદં શરીરં કૌન્તેય ક્ષેત્રમિત્યભિધીયતે ।
એતદ્યો વેત્તિ તં પ્રાહુઃ ક્ષેત્રજ્ઞ ઇતિ તદ્વિદઃ

MEANING

The Blessed Lord said:

O Kaunteya (Arjuna), this body is called the Kṣetra (the field). One who knows and understands this body is called the Kṣetrajña (the knower of the field) by those who understand the truth.

श्रीभगवान् बोले:

हे कौन्तेय (अर्जुन)! यह शरीर क्षेत्र (कर्मभूमि या क्षेत्र) कहलाता है। जो इस शरीर को जानता और समझता है, उसे क्षेत्रज्ञ (क्षेत्र का जानने वाला) कहते हैं।

શ્રીભગવાને કહ્યું:

હે કૌન્તેય (અર્જુન)! આ શરીરને ‘ક્ષેત્ર’ (ખેતર અથવા કર્મનું ક્ષેત્ર) કહેવામાં આવે છે. અને જે આ શરીરને જાણે અને સમજે છે, તેને ‘ક્ષેત્રજ્ઞ’ (ક્ષેત્રનો જાણનાર) કહેવામાં આવે છે.
