Chapter 18 | Mokṣha Sanyās Yog | Verse 19
ज्ञानं कर्म च कर्ता च त्रिधैव गुणभेदत:
प्रोच्यते गुणसङ् ख्याने यथावच्छृणु तान्यपि
jñānaṁ karma cha kartā cha tridhaiva guṇa-bhedataḥ
prochyate guṇa-saṅkhyāne yathāvach chhṛiṇu tāny api
જ્ઞાનં કર્મ ચ કર્તા ચ ત્રિધૈવ ગુણભેદતઃ
પ્રોચ્યતે ગુણસઙ્ખ્યાને યથાવચ્છૃણુ તાન્યપિ
MEANING
“Knowledge, action, and the doer are declared in the analysis of the three guṇas (qualities of nature) to be of three kinds each. Now hear them properly from Me.”
“ज्ञान, कर्म और कर्ता—ये तीनों गुणों (सत्त्व, रजस, तमस) के भेद से तीन-तीन प्रकार के बताए गए हैं। अब उन्हें ठीक से मुझसे सुनो।”
“જ્ઞાન, કર્મ અને કર્તા—આ ત્રણેય ગુણોના ભેદથી ત્રણ-ત્રણ પ્રકારના જણાવવામાં આવ્યા છે. હવે તેને યોગ્ય રીતે મારી પાસેથી સાંભળ.”
